The Light Accelerator was a device placed in Jamaa Township during Night of the Phantoms 2023. It replaced the fountain and allowed players to participate in a minigame every 7 and a half minutes. The minigame rewarded Lightside and Darkside tokens.
Gameplay[]
Players first chose either Lightside or Darkside. In the minigame, players must watch and listen to a sequence of 4 buttons lighting up, then repeat the sequence back by either clicking the buttons or using keys 1-4 on the keyboard. A new input was added to the sequence every round. The initial sequence was 2 inputs long and the game was 9 rounds long, ending with a sequence of 10 inputs. Players had a limited amount of time to repeat the sequence and would fail if they repeated it wrong or ran out of time. Sequences were randomly generated and the same for all players in the room.
After either round 9 was completed or all players had failed, a leaderboard would come up showing everyone's scores as well as total points earned by each side that round. Everyone on the side with the most points would receive bonus tokens equivalent to their score divided by 3 and rounded to the nearest integer. Players received either Lightside or Darkside tokens depending on what side they chose at the start of the game.

Trivia[]
- The minigame is similar to the real life game Simon Says, as well as Mira Says from Animal Jam Classic.
- The buttons on the minigame share colors and symbols with the Alphas Cosmo, Sir Gilbert, Graham, and Liza.
- Cracks emanated from the accelerator's location in Jamaa Township. These cracks grew every day until eventually reaching Alpha Headquarters on October 28 and making it inaccessible.
- Graham built the Light Accelerator.
- The Light Accelerator minigame seems to have been re-released into the Phantom Dimension.
