Packs are a way of communicating with buddies in a group. Packs are currently a non-member inclusive feature, but contains some exclusive Animaljam.com Members' only features. This feature was first introduced on November 30, 2017.
Description[]
Packs are a feature which allows Jammers to create or join a pack based on their favorite rance
Each Pack has its own stylized crest which appears on the right side of the Jammer tag. Every Jammer can see your Pack crest.
Crests[]
Crests are small badges that can be customized. The crests consist of a border, a background, and an emblem. The backgrounds and emblems can have a pattern as well as two colors. However, the borders can only have one color.

Hideout[]
Pack Hideout[]
The Pack Hideout is an exclusive pack-only feature that allows all the members of a pack to gather and hang out together in a hideout.
Alpha Hideout[]
The Alpha Hideout was a featured added on December 2, 2020. This is a hideout for all jammers in a pack, where jammers could visit the Hideout corresponding to their pack allegiance.
Pack Chest Gifts[]
Pack Chest Gifts are exclusive to pack-only items that appear randomly in the golden chest found in a pack hideout. Most items are only obtainable for a day. Items, Gems and Sapphires can be obtained from the Pack Chest. Gems and Sapphires are random much like the Gem Tree.
Gem Tree[]
This tree is located in the Pack Hideout. When clicked, it grows gems and when clicked again, it drops the gems on the ground. Walk over the gems to pick them up. Every hour it gives a random amount of Gems or Sapphires.
Color Cloud[]
The Color Cloud was added on May 2, 2018 and allows members of a pack to randomize their colors, some of which are unobtainable on the color palette. A raccoon named Hugh stands beside the color cloud, waving a paintbrush and saying phrases, that sometimes change seasonally. The jammer must stand on the color pallet, and a cloud will start dropping random colors. During the change, the eyes and patterns don’t change color, only the main colors of the animal do.
Pack Merchandise[]
Pack Merchandise were added on January 6, 2021 and allows members of a pack to shop exclusive items featuring its pack crest.
Trivia[]
- Double Wings were only released for a few hours after the update.
- The Maximum number of Jammers allowed in a Pack is 100.
- It costs 15 Sapphires to change the Pack name.
- You can change Pack Crest's style after creating the pack.
- Packs can be made Private or Public.
- You can have a maximum of only one pack at a time.
- People who you promote to leader can also change the Pack name.
- The Pack chat interface was changed on January 31, 2018.
- As of February 5, 2018, Sapphires, Gems and Items can be won through the chest but the number of Sapphires and Gems are randomized much like the Gem Tree.
- On 2 November 2018, AJHQ accidentally deleted packs for approximately 2 hours.
- The maximum number of Jammers allowed in a single Pack Run [1] is 8
- If your membership expires, you are still in your pack but you cannot open chests, receive items from the gem tree, however, you are able to participate in pack runs.
- Visiting your pack every day gives you 10 more XP.
- On December 2nd, 2020, the ability to join Packs, Pack Runs, and receive items from the Gem Tree were made available to all Jammers.
- Pack runs give you XP, the number varies from the score that is collected in the run altogether
- On November 2, 2022, announcement boards were added.
- Only pack leaders can write announcements.
