The Pet Painted Egg is a pet. It was originally released on April 4, 2023, from redeeming the Pet Painted Egg Token in the pet adoption machine on the top floor of Claws 'N Paws. When opened, it gifts its owner a random prize, and then self destructs, similar to the Anniversary Prize Pal. The available rewards vary depending on the Tier of the Pet Painted Egg (See "Prizes" section below).

Prizes vary depending on whether or not the Pet Painted Egg is at the maximum level of five, or below that. Color of the Pet Painted Egg plays no part in determining the prize. The higher the level the better the prize, and Ruby tiers or higher tiers have a high chance of awarding one of the Painted Egg-Exclusive Alpha Items (options shown below).
