Phantom Ice Caverns is a seasonal Minigame released during the Night of the Phantoms on September 30, 2022, once the ice in Mt. Shiveer had caved in. It came back in April 2024 through one of the portals in Crystallis for 15 days.
Gameplay[]
The Phantoms have disassembled the Giant Paintseed Cannon, players must search the Ice Caverns below Mt. Shiveer for the eight missing pieces to repair it. Along the way, players can retrieve any lost Candies the Phantoms had stolen from Trick-or-Treat.
Players can create a squad of 12 people. This can either be open to everyone, packs or buddies only.
Players will spawn into the main area with the broken cannon. They must defeat Phantoms by throwing paintseeds at them to unlock additional areas of the Ice Caverns in search for the eight missing pieces within a 5 minute time limit. Phantoms can stun players in a purple translucent crystal, players must rapidly tap to break free from the crystal. Once the cannon has been repaired, the cannon will automatically fire against the Giant Ice Phantom. After being hit, phantoms swarm the cannon to destroy it. Thus, repeating gameplay until the timer runs out.
Paintseeds are unlimited and do not subtract from your accumulated total from paintseed trees. Paintseeds bounce off frozen players.
